How We Earn Money

Festival of Education (festivalofeducation.org.nz) is a participant in affiliate marketing programmes with various online casino and pokies operators. When you click on links to these casinos and complete sign-ups or make deposits, we may earn affiliate commissions at no additional cost to you.

Our Editorial Independence

We want to be completely transparent: our affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial rankings, reviews, or recommendations. Our reviews are based on independent research, user experience testing, security assessments, and game variety. We rank and recommend casinos based on their actual quality and suitability for New Zealand players, regardless of commission structures.

Identifying Affiliate Links

Affiliate and sponsored links on our site are clearly identified with:

• A "Sponsored" or "Partner" label near the link
• Disclosure text indicating the link is an affiliate link
• Visual indicators such as badges or icons

New Zealand Compliance

This disclosure complies with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) Code for Advertising and Promotions and relevant New Zealand Consumer Law requirements. We are committed to transparent and honest advertising practices.

Your Responsibility

While we provide thorough reviews, you are responsible for:

• Verifying all information independently before gambling
• Checking that casinos hold valid New Zealand gaming licences
• Understanding your own gambling laws and regulations
• Gambling responsibly and within your means
• Seeking help if gambling becomes a problem
